School Council
At Pinhoe Primary School every child, from Year 1 upwards, gets a chance to apply for a place on school council each year. The applicants then explain to the class why they think they would make a good school councillor and the class vote for their preferred candidate.
Aims of the School Council:
- To listen to pupils' ideas.
- To aim to improve our school in a positive way.
- To help to make our school a friendly, happy and safe place.
- To aim to make our ideas go a long way; beyond school.
- To find out pupils' points of view about school.
- To feed back what has happened during School Council meetings.
- To help raise money for chosen charities.
