Sports Day 2021
Wow, what a great Sports Day we had, with those children we had in school. Children took part in a series of events including; javelin, speed bounce, shuttle runs, bean bag throws, discus, flat races and finally dancing with Miss Morgan one of our incredibly talented teaching assistants. It was such a good atmosphere, everyone was sporting a smile and were fully engaged. A huge thank you to Mr Murrin who ran the day and braved the sunshine! An even bigger thank you to our wonderful Year 6 house and vice captains who dedicated their time to support and encourage the children- we couldn't have done it without you!
Our House and Vice Captains
Bradbridge: Evie, Romeo, Sophie-Rae and Louis.
Curzon: Freya, Calum, Cleo and Thomas.
Lavington: Chaiya, Luke, Amy and George.
Stafford: Tahlia, Ben, Lily and Elliot.
A visit from Rich Parker - GB Skater
Rich Parker GB Skater came in to teach some of our Year 5/6 children roller blading in 2019. He also delivered a session on pressure and keeping our focus in difficult situations. The children all had a great morning and persevered really well! More events like this will take place after Coronavirus restrictions are lifted!
