Wildlife Champions
Birdwatching Cruise on The Exe
The Wildlife Champions went on a River Exe cruise on Thursday morning. The weather was perfect and they saw a great number of birds that will spend the winter enjoying Devon's climate. John was their RSPB guide, who was able to point out the avocets, curlews, redshanks, knots, godwits, terns, cormorants, brent geese, teals and even 'flying carrots', otherwise known as oystercatchers!
Thank you to the local RSPB group for offering this very special trip, in memory of Roger Tucker.
