Secondary School Applications – deadline 31st October
Parents of children in Year 6 will be thinking about the schools they will be sending their children to in September 2023. Any families that still need to apply need to do so before 31st October. The easiest way to apply is online by visiting Apply for a Secondary School place. If you are unable to apply online, then you can contact the admissions customer service team on: 0345 155 1019.

The Secret Book Quest!
A special visitor came to our Key Stage assemblies this week: Zoe Woodbridge from Pinhoe Library. Zoe told us all about The Secret Book Quest, an exciting new reading challenge. Read a total of 50 books to collect all the stickers, decipher the code and win a special prize! When you have read 25 books (halfway through the challenge) you will receive a certificate.
To sign up for FREE, simply visit Pinhoe Library. You will receive your very own Secret Book Quest journal and the first sticker in your collection. Then browse the library to find your first book and begin the quest!
Even though Pinhoe is a small library, the friendly staff can order books from other libraries if you can't find the book you want. Remember, many of the books you choose will also be AR books, so you can take an AR quiz at the end of them and increase your points total in school.
