Internet Safety
Our pupils are growing up in a world of ever-changing technology and as a result staying safe online has never been more important or relevant. While we believe that the use of technology is a largely positive aspect of modern life, we cannot ignore the potential risks that can be associated.
At Pinhoe C of E Primary school, children learn how to stay safe online through our computing and Jigsaw curriculum. In addition, we use Project Evolve (SWGfl) to further prepare pupils for the digital world. This covers progression across seven strands of online safety and is taught across the school (EYFS to year 6) every half term to further embed the importance of staying safe online.
As parents, it is important to keep track of what your child is doing online to help them learn from it and, most importantly, to keep them safe. If you have any concerns about your child’s use of digital technology please explore the links below to support putting appropriate boundaries in place.
